Sports
An integral part of the BUCCLEUCH MONTESSORI School philosophy is ‘a healthy mind in a healthy body’. At BUCCLEUCH MONTESSORI our sport has grown exponentially and competitively throughout the years. Our school coaches Cameron and Jitesh are both extremely dedicated to building our children up to succeed in the sport of their choice. We can confidently boast about our many sporting achievements.
Softball
Our school is affiliated with Johannesburg Softball Association. We participate in competitive exciting weekly fixtures and tournaments.
Soccer
Our school is affiliated with the Johannesburg Primary Schools Football Association (JPSFA). We participate in league, festivals and tournament matches. It is always exciting to watch our young aspiring soccer stars display their immense talent on the field.
Athletics and Cross Country
Our Athletics offering includes track and field training. Every season our under 9 to Opens compete against other schools to enhance their development.
Cricket
At Buccleuch Montessori we pride ourselves on our cricket teams. Several of our children have gone on to be selected to represent the Far North Schools Cricket Teams in various age groups. We are very pleased to see the growth of cricket and the impact it has had on our children.
Netball
Netball is one of our most competitive sports offerings at Buccleuch Montessori. Matches take place on a weekly basis with our teams competing against other schools across Johannesburg. We strive for excellence and encourage our young players to reach their full potential.
